Your accommodation for the weekend will be a quintessential Cotswolds manor, a privately owned country house, peacefully located on the edge of a picturesque hamlet near Cheltenham. We will have exclusive use of the venue which can accommodate twelve guests in luxury. Art lessons will be held on-site, so that you can arrive, kick off your shoes and leave the world behind you for an entire weekend!
There are five superb double-suites, two on the first floor (one of which can be twin-bedded if required) and a further three on the second floor (again one of which can be twin-bedded). There is also an adjoining first floor flat, benefiting from its own kitchen and living space. Each beautiful room has an equally delightful en-suite bathroom, complete with fluffy white bathrobes, and Molten Brown lotions-and-potions for your use during your visit. Biscuits, fresh fruit and spring water refreshed daily, along with flowers and crisp white white cotton bed linen, will add to the pleasure of your stay. Be prepared for glorious views from your bedroom window, perhaps of the beautiful grounds of which there are eight acres, including woodland, wild, formal and informal gardens, perhaps of the famous, little Norman Church, or perhaps you can keep an eye on the birds from the flat, which feels like you are living in a tree house! All rooms are equipped with digital televisions and the manor has wi-fi access.
Feel free to wander down to the dining room on Saturday and Sunday morning in your bathrobe, for a nourishing breakfast prepared by the owner, the wonderful Christine! You will be royally treated to fruits, yogurt, granola and cheese, as well as scrambled eggs, roast tomatoes and mushrooms cooked on the AGA. All to be enjoyed of course, with teas, coffees, orange juice, sparkling and still water, and toast.
All other meals will be prepared by our catering team, who are working on a deliciously, healthy meal plan for the weekend. On the Friday you will experience an Afternoon Tea with dainty sandwiches and scrumptious cakes. On the Saturday you will receive a gourmet packed lunch, providing you with the opportunity to head out and about and explore the Cotswolds for a few hours ... if you want to - you may of course wish to stay at the manor and simply relax. Evening meals on both Friday and Saturday will begin with canapés in the drawing room, followed by a plated two-course meal, a mouth-watering main and sublime dessert, accompanied by wines and soft drinks.
Please note, that all dietary requirements can be catered for.
